This policy outlines how Wanroi LTD collects, verifies, and protects identity documentation required for assigning mobile and landline numbers through the Avid Call platform. It also explains our compliance responsibilities under global telecom regulations and data protection laws.
1. Why Verification Is Required
Many countries (including the UK, EU, USA, and others) require user identity verification for phone number registration due to anti-fraud and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
We collect identity documents to:

Comply with local and international telecom regulations

Prevent misuse, fraud, and unauthorised use of telecom services

Verify user legitimacy before assigning a number
2. Accepted Documents
Depending on the country and number type, we may request one or more of the following:

a) Proof of Identity (any one of the following):

Valid passport

Government-issued national ID card

Valid driver’s licence

b) Proof of Address (any one of the following):

Recent utility bill (electricity, gas, water)

Bank statement (within 3 months)

Tenancy agreement or council tax bill

Business registration documents (if registering as a business)

3. International Users (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan)
Special Notice for Users Outside the UK:
Users submitting identification documents from outside the UK (e.g. Bangladesh, India, or Pakistan) acknowledge and consent to lawful cross-border processing of their personal data for identity verification and telecom compliance purposes. All submitted documents are securely stored in encrypted systems and are only retained for the minimum period required by regulation, after which they are deleted or anonymised
This ensures our international users are protected while also enabling Wanroi LTD to comply with applicable laws in the countries we serve.
4. How We Use Your Documents
Submitted identity documents are used solely to:

Verify your identity and address

Register local or international numbers with telecom partners

Respond to regulatory audits or official legal requests (if required)
We do not use your documents for marketing or third-party sharing.
5. Data Protection & Storage

Identity documents are stored on secure, access-controlled, encrypted servers located in the UK or EEA.

Access is limited to authorised compliance staff only

All handling of ID data is done in compliance with UK GDPR, and where applicable, EU GDPR and relevant international laws.
6. Retention & Deletion

Documents are retained only as long as necessary to comply with regulatory obligations

If a number is not activated or verification is unsuccessful, documents are deleted within 30 days

Users can request confirmation of deletion or access to their stored information at any time
7. Failure to Submit Documents
If required documentation is not submitted:

Your number activation will be delayed or denied

Wanroi LTD reserves the right to cancel your order
-
No refunds will be issued for delays caused by non-compliance
